Gujarat Board GSEB SSC & HSC Exam Schedule Notification

Gujarat State Board of Secondary Education and Higher Secondary Education (GSEB & GSHSEB) has released the time table for SSC & HSC Board exams to be conducted in the month of March 2020. SSC exams are scheduled from 05 March 2020 to 17 March 2020. Exam hours are 10 am to 1:15 pm. HSC exams are scheduled from 05 March 2020 to 21 March 2020. Exam hours are 10:30am to 1:45pm or 3pm to 6:15pm based on the stream and exam subject. Details are provided below.

National Institute of Fashion Technology, NIFT 2020 Admissions, Apply Online, Courses, Fees, Last Merit and Important Dates

National Institute of Fashion Technology offers Bachelors and Master degree programs in various disciplines like Design, Fashion Technology & Fashion Management. Admissions to Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree programs are conducted via entrance exam (CAT & GAT) which is followed by rounds of Group Discussions and Interview. Calendar for admissions to NIFT 2020 is released and available below. Last Date of online registration is December 31, 2019 and Exam date is January 19, 2020. Results will be declared in June 2020 and counselling will start there after.

NIFT campuses are modern and state of the art infrastructure, suitable for design inspiration and practices. NIFT colleges are available in 16 locations which are Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Kannur, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna, Raebareli, Shillong, Kangra, Jodhpur, Bhubneshwar and Srinagar. Total seats in UG and PG courses are around 4297 in all colleges included.

THE EXAMINATION PROCESS

All eligible candidates would have to go through an examination process. The process for each programme is separately listed below:

  • B.Des
    • For candidates to the UG Design programmes, the selection process comprises a written examination comprising of a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT), followed by a Situation Test to be undertaken by shortlisted candidates of the written examination.
  • B.FTech
    • For candidates to the UG Fashion Technology programme, the selection process comprises a written examination comprising of a General Ability Test (GAT).
  • M.Des
    • For candidates to the PG Design programme, the selection process comprises a written examination comprising of a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT) followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD/PI) for shortlisted candidates of the written examination.
  • M.F.M.

National Talent Search Exam 2020, conducted by NCERT

National Talent Search Exam 2020, is conducted in 2 levels. First level is conducted by respective State board for students who are in 10th Std and the exam date for this year is decided to be 3rd November 2019. It is conducted on first Sunday of November every year. Once the candidates you have been selected in the first round, there applications are sent to NCERT for second round. Second round of exam is conducted at National level by NCERT. Selected canditates who are shortlisted in the exam are eligible for scholarships until PG/PhD as per their stream of education.

Eligibility for NCERT – NTSE 2020

Students who are in 10th standard in the current year of application from government schools, grant-in-aid schools, private schools and any other education bodies which are registered schools are eligible for exam. Students from open schools can also apply for this.

Age limit for examination is 18 years and below as on 1st July 2019 and should not be working and appearing for the exams as first attempt.

NCERT – National Talent Search Exam is conducted at 2 levels – State Level & National Level. Candidates who clear state level exam are eligible for national level exam.

Exam Fees for NCERT – NTSE 2020

General category students need to pay 70 Rs. Other categories like PH, OBC, SC & ST, fees is 50 Rs.

Exam is conducted in 2 languages Gujarati and English. Exam is conducted in MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) based format. There are no negative marking. Visibly challenged students will receive 30 minutes extra for each category.

Scholarship provided by NCERT – NTSE 2020

Selected candidates are provided scholarship of 1250 Rs for 11 & 12 th standard. For undergraduation and postgraduation, scholarship of 2000 Rs is provided. For non-professional courses assistance for PhD is also provided. Candidates must perform across academics every year consistently scoring above 60 % in final exams.


Gujarat Talent Search Test 9th Standard (February 2020) – Prakharata Shodh Kasoti

Notification is released for Gujarat Talent Search Test TST 9th Standard popularly known as Prakharata Shodh Kasoti. Exam to be conducted in February 2020.

Online Application

Online Application for Gujarat Talent Search Test is available between 5th December 2019 to 20 December 2019. Application needs to be filled by respective schools for all the students who are appearing for this test. Schools need to use “Index Number” and “Password” that was used to fill 10th Standard student details.

Applications can only be submitted online. There is no process for offline submission.

Exam Centre Choice

Select the exam centre closest to the school. Once you fill the details of all students, this exam centre will be auto applicable for all students.

Student Registration

After choosing the exam centre, fill the details of all students like Surname, Name, Father’s name, Medium, Caste, Gender and GR No. For Divyang (Differently abled) student, select yes in the check box. Once you fill all the details, click on save button.

Fees

Payment for all students need to be done at once. Schools can do online payment via internet-banking or credit cards. They can also do payment offline via SBI Branch Payment.

Exam Pattern

Exam is conducted in 3 languages – Gujarati, English and Hindi. There are total 100 Questions each carrying 1 mark. Total Maximum Marks is 100. For each incorrect answers 1/3 mark will be deducted. Total duration of exam is 2 hours. The exam is multiple-choice-question MCQ type. OMR answer sheet will be provided.

Question paper is divided into 4 sections – Gujarati (30 Q) , English (30 Q) , Social Science (30 Q) and General Knowledge (10 Q).

Gujarati section is mandatory in all mediums.
